Synopsis:

Two people on the fringes of the law. Her, an undocumented Mexican immigrant in Spain with nowhere to go, and him, an old shepherd who lives off the illegal sale of animals in his remote farmhouse in the Basque mountains. Their paths cross and they end up living together in the farmhouse. Suspicions intermingle with glimpses of mutual recognition. A strange connection between two unrooted people. Until he steals a horse with the intention of killing it to sell its meat.
